Wilders Hits US Talk Show Circuit

Rob Piccolli over on Wind Rose Hotel has an excellent post up on the “Premio Oriana Fallaci”, Geert Wilders and the pernicious machinations of one of the most dangerous organizations of our time: the Organization of Islamic Conferences (OIC).

Some have suggested - amongst others the author of "Eurabia", Bat Yeor - that it is this massive lobby group that has pressured the Amsterdam Appeals Court into indicting Wilders. It says something about the politization of the course of justice that this morning's article in the Dutch paper De Pers states that Wilders is being prosecuted for making "anti Islamic statements". The text of the indictment is less straight forward, but it boils down to precisely that.

O'Reilly is challenging Wilders that "what good does "Fitna" do, since everyone knows by now that Islamism is a totalitarian ideology". That's precisely the problem, isn't it? They should know and could know, but the psychological mechanism of denial kicks in so that they do not have to deal with a major threat!

Vorzheva of the blog World Challenges of the XXIst Century has taken the initiative of starting an aggregate of the counter-jihadist movement, the Anti Islamist Coalition. You'll find such fine blogs as Infidels Are Cool and Muslims Against Sharia posting there.

Radical Islam.org is a great website, featuring for example Frank Gaffney, Jr exploring the pregnant question, "Where are the Liberal Muslims?" It stresses what we've been saying for some time. It just stands to reason that those in the West who are dancing to the Islamic tune - postmodernists, and a plethora of Leftist groups (Dutch language link) - are actually strengthening, aiding and abetting the radicals, not supporting the moderates. They are left out in the cold with nowhere to go. Check it out! It's outrageous! Read the comments too!

Wilders interview with Glenn Beck underlines another hazard to watch closely: the next stage in the disease called political correctness. Paired to "prosecution for anti Islamic statements" we see there's the tendency since the onset of Obama - and this is visible in Europe as well as the US - that opposition is somehow out of the moral order. This is dangerous stuff we need to keep a close eye on. Listen to Glenn!

Geert Goes to Washington DC ... and Stays Put

After the honor of pocketing the freedom award in Italy last week, today Dutch MP Geert Wilders is off to our guarantor of free speech (at least, we hope so), the cradle of Liberty, the United States of America. He does so at the invitation of the influential Republican Senator for Arizona, Jon Kyl.

Last Thursday's event in Rome included a ceremony during which Wilders was awarded the Oriana Fallaci Free Speech Award, an honor that recognizes him, like the late Italian author and journalist, as a “symbol of the fight against Islamic Fascism and a knight of the freedom of humankind.”

Wilders noted the objectives of his "Facing Jihad" world tour:

“This event is part of the ‘Facing Jihad’ world tour for "Fitna" that will serve to expose Islam for what it is: an ideology that preaches terrorism, antisemitism and the oppression of women, homosexuals and non-Muslims”, Wilders said.

“Educating the public about the harsh realities of Islamization is the first step to effectively combating and ultimately defeating Global Jihad”.

But after his confrontation with the UK's Labor Government of Gordon Brown last week which barred him from entering Britain on account of "endangering community harmony", today he's off to the US where he will be showing "Fitna" to the Senate at the invitation of Senator Jon Kyl.

Individual Liberty and the Freedom of Speech being carved into the bedrock in that nation, Wilders doesn't expect any similar problems with Home Office officials there. Neither did he have any last week when entering Italy. It says a lot about the state of affairs in Britain today, no longer great! by any standard save one.

The showing in the American Senate will be followed by an informal discussion, in which the topic will be the state of the freedom of expression in Europe. Senator Kyl in his invitation referred to the enormous controversy sparked by Britain's ban.

Isn't that a first class embarrassment, after the Americans had to bail out Europe from various collectivist adventures a number of times over the last century?! Apparently we're still clueless how to safeguard our own values and keep them.

There has been a debate in The Hague Parliament over the Wilders ban, but the Dutch Government, while initially speaking up for a parliamentarian's right to do his job in any of the EU member states, have now dug in their heels and refuse to bring up the case in the wider political European arena.

The loyalties of the Christian Democrat Government apparently aren't as much to Liberty (not part of their political philosophy, after all) but rather to fellow 'confessionals' under the banner of - as Pat Condell put it - "any religious value in society is better than none".

Wilders will also visit New York and Boston this week, where he will host press meetings, grant interviews and feature in a number of MSM talk shows in order to raise money for his legal fund. While he's having to bear the costs of appealing the British ban, he's also facing mounting legal expenses defending against the indictment for "inciting hatred" extended to him by the Amsterdam Court of Political Correctness and Dhimmidom. In an article on American Thinker author Andrew G. Bostom clarifies that what Wilders demands is simply precision and consistency in the application of the law: "Wilders compared the Koran to Mein Kampf and called it hate speech according to the Dutch Penal Code". In a 2008 post Bostom collates Wilders' view with historical comments made by Winston Churchill on the same subject.

He's also breaking the news that Wilders is now proposing a European First Amendment. Well, not a moment too soon to rid ourselves of the politically correct perversion that is 'hate speech'. Short of actual and proven incitement to murder it has no place in a mature society.

Bostom also interestingly calls to mind a very similar case as Wilders' Fitna, compiled in a book by Sita Ram Goel dating back to 1986 known as "The Calcutta Quran Petition" (peruse it here) (buy it here). The given aim of the book reads: "(...) to promote a public discussion of Islam as a religion, particularly its claim that every bit of the Quran and the Hadis has a divine source. This claim is used at present to prevent a close examination of what the book contains and what message Islam has for mankind at large".

Faith Freedom explains:

Three heroic sons of India, namely Sri Chandmal Chopra, advocate of Calcutta High Court, Sri Hamangshu Kumar Chakraborthy and Sri Sital Singh filed an application in the Calcutta High Court (...) to declare each copy of the Quran (...) forfeited to the government. In their petition they stated, among other things, the following reasons:

(...) the book contains words or sayings which promote, on ground of religion, disharmony, enmity, hatred or ill-will between different religious communities or which outrage the religious feelings of any class of citizens of India or insult the religion or religious beliefs of that class of people.
Two Hindus were arrested - under Indian law exploited by Muslims to prevent public criticism of their faith - for publishing a poster which simply cited 24 Koranic verses with a caption “Why riots take place in this country.”

The accused were eventually acquitted by a magistrate who opined, that close perusal of the citations shows that they are harmful, teach hatred, and ... how can we put that succinctly ... generally endanger community harmony.

Why Multiculturalism is Racist and Evil

What do the pictures in this post have in common, apart of human esthetics and artistic excellence?

All spring from the genius of Nazi propaganda artist Leni Riefenstahl. But the icons share other characteristics.

Polylogism (here defined, and here seen in postmodern action) is a form of collectivist subjectivism that also produced the National Socialist racial theories. A postmodern term for polylogism is multiculturalism.

A people, racial or cultural group is seen as having to follow its own particular destiny apart from the rest of humanity, a historical path culminating - according to a number of subjectivist philosophers (Kant and Hegel) - in teleological endgames, often a secularized version of the Second Coming.

The irrationality of multiple 'logics' apart, this form of self-determination negates universalism and is in fact racism, with apartheid as a direct consequence.

Universalism endows the human race as a whole with basic rights, as poetically summed up in the American Declaration of Independence: (...) that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

In its result it makes no difference whether these inalienable rights are bestowed by God, are a result of Natural Law, or are seen as inherent in man's nature.

But it makes all the difference if such rights are relative, conditional and temporarily bestowed by society, or worse, by the state or a government - up for suspension at any time when the collective deems its own common causes of primary importance over the individual's as we have witnessed in Nazism, Communism and Fascism. Modern forms of collectivism are the inevitable consequences of a fatal mistake made by the thinkers of the so-called Radical Enlightenment, the first relativists of our time, skeptics, deists and atheists, notably Cartesian philosophers as Pierre Bayle and Baruch Spinoza: they 1o1 substituted absolute monarchy with the rule by the state. Diderot and Jean-Jacques Rousseau put the cherry on the evil edifice by fitting it out with an illusionary 'common will' of its own.

Building total states was not their intention, but it was the result of their oversight to safeguard individual rights against the ever expanding bodies of state. Whereas in universalism rights are absolute, either sacred, natural, or inherent and thus inalienable, collectivists derive their temporal, conditional and positive rights directly from the state or the government. These aren't servants and representatives of the people, but ends in themselves.

Universalism produces negative rights and liberty, limiting the powers of the state in favor of its individual citizens; on the racial level the result is 'melting pot' and given time, Dr Martin Luther King's 'color blindness'.

Polylogism or multiculturalism on the other hand produces subjects, drones, apartheid, gang morality, segregation, ghettos, no-go areas, balkanization, tribalism, and the oppression of dissidents of any particular group, whose rules they happened to have violated. These have nowhere to go since the multicultural prime directive - all groups being morally equal - is not to interfere in any other group's affairs.

Contrary to what the proponents tell us, the definition of a multicultural society is not a society comprising multiple cultures, but one consisting of segregated minorities, each following their own 'common will'. History learns that the result is oppression and a perpetual state of tribal warfare.

Given the fact that humanity can now look back on literally centuries of ill experience with collectives - each of course laying claim to its own version of Utopia - it's truly stupefying that we are still in the process of reproducing more of the same.

The analysis was never properly made, nor were the evils in essence ever exposed and addressed. As a result we're not looking ahead to a happy post-racial melting pot, but to the ultimate nightmare of a postmodern version of tribalism.

Eurozine recently published an exchange of polemics between proponents and opponents of multiculturalism. Note that the proponents defend their morally charged views on the basis of their good intentions, not on the logical consequences of their ideas. That particular strain of Kantian ethics is called deontology, or the perpetual get-of-jail-card for the good-intent-bad-result-never-mind brigades.

If anything stands out between the 17th century originals and the postmodern lot, it's that the former were rather keen on the absoluteness of the freedom of expression. But since the onset of the Counter Enlightenment that value has been subject of erosion, now temporarily culminating in the inexplicable wish to return to barbarism and obscurantism.

"Triumph of the Will", or Defeat of Delusion

On display tonight is a full length National Socialist gem, a propaganda film directed by German artist and photographer, Leni Riefenstahl featuring the 1934 Nazi rally at Nurnberg.

Like Hitler's blueprint for war "Mein Kampf" the classic may well be on the index of some countries in Europe, but it proves that censoring and suppression is a mistake: "Triumph des Willens" - or "Triumph of the Will" - is a revelation as well as an education.

First we need to keep in mind that Corporal Hitler was elected into power just a year earlier, in 1933 on a narrative of restoring to its former glory the Fatherland, home to the victims, the German People.

They saw themselves as the victims first of all of greedy, selfish, materialistic Anglo-Saxon liberal Capitalism. The defeat in World War I for which the Jewry, Communists and other subversives were blamed in a Sorelian myth (the Dolchstoß Legend) was another contribution to the self image of underdog. The harsh terms of the Versailles Treaty did the rest for the narrative of victimhood.

World War I had been wholesale slaughter and the Versailles Treaty was no joke. Can you blame a people, a leader or a party for fostering and furthering the ideal to right that wrong? Many Germans, other Europeans and Americans thought not.

Sir Winston Churchill wrote in his Nobel Prize winning "Memoirs of the Second World War": ""I had no national prejudices against Hitler at the time. I knew little of his doctrine or record and nothing of his character. I admire men who stand up for their country in defeat, even though I am on the other side. He had a perfect right to be a patriotic German if he chose. I always wanted England, Germany and France to be friends."

On the ideological level we find in the title of the movie a somewhat curious statement: the triumph of will, but whose will? Corporal Hitler's? No, its a notion that can be traced back to the collectivist philosophers Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Diderot, whose ideal society can best be summed up as a theofascist tribe, having replaced the role of the sovereign ruler with the community's. That entity was thought of as having a will of its own - the 'common will' - to whom all drones have a duty to answer and submit.

Corporal Hitler, the National Socialist Party and all that happened as a result, suddenly doesn't seem that enigmatic anymore!

For whatever reason, today we don't speak of 'will' so much anymore. In Postmodern times it's all about subjectivity, personal taste and "if it pleases us". So, ways are found that do please us. And when that's the case we may suddenly find it in our hearts that "Yes, we can". The pragmatism is the same though: we do whatever we want, because it's Us!

Finally, we can now witness for ourselves the curious observation made frequently by historians: the pounding rhetoric - not just of victimhood - but also of peace and concord from the man we now know to have been responsible for some of the worst atrocities of the last century.

Liberty be Damned!

The current ones in power may very well be the first generation that makes a clean break with the time-honored nonsense of passing the world on to the next cohort as you found it, having preferably somewhat improved on it.

They may have corrupted their children, put their parents in human warehouses for the elderly, but say what you will - the boomers have very well taken care of themselves. Hence on it's pretty much après nous la déluge (or, after us the diluvial) in the theofascist collective that they are leaving us (all for our own good, of course).

Large chunks of present blog have been taken up by investigations into the causes of the treacherous default mind set of the boomer generation. Presently in power, having done their damnedest to erase history, they are now leading us into the brave new world of neo-totalitarianism after all.

For a while things looked pretty dicey, National Socialism having proved a non-starter and Communism dying of a silent implosion under its own weight. But the onset of mass migration and the violent death pangs of an exploding Islam offer fresh hope of establishing a total state yet on the smoldering ashes of the hated Enlightenment philosophy of individual Liberty.

Geert Wilders: Let Them Eat Grits!

He's made up his mind and will definitely travel to Heathrow tomorrow for a confrontation with the weak, pusillanimous Labour Government that's holding on to dear power by a thread.

Wilders cannot lose. The British authorities can nothing but lose.

Either they give him a pass and they look pretty much like the Metropolitan police -- foolish and ineffectual; or they lock Wilders up and the world will know them as politically correct traitors to liberal democracy.

There's a third possibility. CBN News veteran, Dale Hurd who interviewed Wilders last year, thinks the Brits won't make the fatal mistake of jailing Wilders: "No, I don't think the British will arrest Wilders, but it certainly looks as if they may block his entry".

The defender of liberty for his part cannot wait to find out just how cowardly they are. Wilders - who for years hasn't been able to move without security detail - has drawn energy from the British stance - he's more determined than ever before.

Protests by the Dutch Government to date have had no effect. Dutch parliamentarians usually share some of the ambivalence towards Wilders' critique of Islam: the postmodern contempt for truth, disregard for facts, and a need to unquestioningly throw their weight behind minorities, no matter how wrong or downright evil they may be, all willingly sacrificed in the service of the blanket belief that compromise is the panacea for all of the world's ills.

But now the censorial British position has rekindled the rebel in the Dutch national character: Parliament is behind Wilders to a man! Hurray - the spirit of Cartesianism is animating the low lands once again.

Geert Wilders: Persona Non Grata in Britain

Sit down for this one.

On behalf of the British Government, her Majesty's ambassador to the Netherlands has served Dutch MP Geert Wilders today with a letter, declaring him persona non grata in UK.

Wilders is due on Thursday for a screening of his short film "Fitna" on the invitation of a Peer in the House of Lords for the euroskeptic UK Independence Party.

Wilders will be arrested on entering the U.K.

Wilders: "Great Britain is sacrificing the freedom of speech. You would expect something like this to happen in a country like Saudi Arabia, but not in Great Britain. This cowardly act by the British government is a disgrace. I was invited by a British member of parliament."

The Dutch Foreign Minister as well the House Speaker have protested the British Government's decision.

The British Labour Government have nothing to say for themselves, declining to "comment on individual cases".

The invitation is actually an extension of an earlier request. The screening at the Lords had originally been planned for January 29 , but was postponed because Lord Nazir Ahmed, a Muslim member of the House of Lords (Labour), had threatened to take 10,000 Muslims to the streets to prevent Wilders from entering the House.

Wilders meanwhile, is pondering to travel any way and dare the British to throw him in jail the moment he presents himself at Heathrow airport.

From the Pathological to the Utterly Depraved

Newscom.au: "Iraqi woman had 80 women raped then recruited as suicide bombers"

A woman suspected of recruiting more than 80 female suicide bombers has confessed to organising their rapes so she could later convince them that martyrdom was the only way to escape the shame.

Samira Jassam, 51, was arrested by Iraqi police and confessed to recruiting the women and orchestrating dozens of attacks.

In a video confession, she explained how she had mentally prepared the women for martyrdom operations, passed them on to terrorists who provided explosives, and then took the bombers to their targets. (...) >>>

Let that piece of evil sink in on you: having eighty women purposely raped so that their sense of life and self would be so destructed, that the only way out would be blowing themselves up, including hundreds of others in the process.

Now that's depravity for you! And does it say something about a culture when the evil organizor is lovingly dubbed "the Mother of All Believers" - raised onto the shield and made the heroine!

Where does such clearly socio-pathological behavior come from. On the part of the victims it's the culture of shame - a result of the tribal/collectivist way of life. Read all about that in "Lies, Deceit, and the Shame Culture".

Totalitarian collectivism and the Sorelian myth of Muslim victimhood drive the mentality that prescribes the lone drone's duty to sacrifice to the common cause. That explains the acts of all involved in this truly sick story.

The same author, NASA psychiatrist and blogger, Dr Sanity offers this explanation in the case of the Palestinians.

Nekschot is in Denmark at the invitation of the International Free Press Society. He delivered a speech dressed in the top-to-bottom style black bag called a niqab, symbol for the 'prison' he's been living in since that time.

While certainly not flawless, Nekschot's analysis does reach a new level of understanding the ideological mess and hopefully contributes towards disentangling some of the confusion.

Wilders Fights Back ... (update)

.. but legal experts doubt if advice by arguably the nation's number one legal eagle will hold water. But Abraham Moszkowicz isn't any old hack, he's a magician.

Just how politicized the case against Wilders is might be measured by counsel involved ... a subjective super minority representative versus the white, male 'power structure'. The dialectics not being within our frame of reference, we're merely pointing out here a remarkable coincidence - part of the local color - so to speak.

The plaintiffs are represented by another prime legal attack dog, trial lawyer Gerard Spong - of Surinam descent, black (sort of), and proudly gay.

The defendant's counsel, Abraham Moszkowicz might be viewed - with some imagination - as a representative of the white, male establishment. He recently filed a complaint against a Socialist Party MP who took part in a pro Palestine demonstration in which the vilest antisemitic expressions are the accepted norm (in this case, "Hamas, Hamas, Gas the Jews!). Moszkowicz is Jewish.

It's unsure at this stage on whose side wishful thinking is taking place.

Moszkowicz intends to file a request at the Supreme Court to annul the Wilders indictment. Elsevier's legal correspondent is surprised by the move. Moszkowicz did this successfully on an earlier occasion, but the case differed markedly from the present.

That was when high ranking Surinam military leader Bouterse stood trial for a bloody coup in the former Dutch colony in 1982. The Supreme Court found the Netherlands did not have standing. This case is entirely different.

Elsevier opines an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strassburg, on the grounds that Wilders cannot expect a fair trial, would have had a more positive ring to it.

In another report in "De Pers" (The Press) 'deconstructionist' legal expert Ian (Ybo) Buruma rejects the Moszkowicz' move out of hand: the indictment against Wilders isn't open to appeal. To that the postmodernist added the usual ad hominems, which Moszkowicz declined to dignify with response.

But the road on which legal eagle Abraham Moszkowicz' travels is paved with the bleached remains of wretched opponents. The suspense is killing ...

Wilders for one, assumes the procedure to be on hold pending the request.

Mr Moszkowicz just explained, the move to skip the minor Courts is rarely used, and is justified given the general interest and portent of the matter, as was indeed true in the Bouterse case. He expects a verdict in 10 to 14 days.

Whatever are we talking about? A slippery slope indeed: subjective, objectively unmeasurable, personal opinion: what precisely constitutes hate speech and what in effect is hatred itself? The definition is increasingly, not an involuntary, emotional reaction to an injustice or an injury, but ideological whim.

From the concept 'Islamophobia' we already know that 'fear' has undergone a similar slide: not a involuntary, emotional reaction to threat or injury, but again ideological whim. This truly is the stuff of Orwellian doublespeak ... we are in deep trouble.

Politics=War in Action

"Democracy in Action" is how the Left typify it!

When the politics=war crowd gets into Government they could silence the opposition, either by morally condemning them on trumped up charges as we have seen played out over the last few days (see "From Political Correctness to One Party Rule"), or -

they could unleash one of their political action attack dogs, as is the case today:

Move On: "Not One"

"Not a single Republican voted for President Obama's economic recovery plan in the House. If that happens in the Senate, Obama's plan won't pass. We've got a new TV ad to win over swing-vote Republican senators. Can you chip in?"

Why not ask George SoroS for a hand-out? Or is this supposed to pass for 'grassroots in action'? Swarming, nudging ... where the Left has a presence some form of coercion is usually not very far of.

Stimulus - recovery plan? The video has the gall to call for supporting "the Obama recovery plan for 3 million jobs, not the failed policies of the past ..." yada yada yada - ~~~~~~~ (these represent sound-waves, the definition of postmodern 'communications').

No, let's recover as slow as possible and credit the politicians by revamping the failed policies of the far, far past! [sarc off]

Only in countries without private ownership (i.e. in totalitarian states) can the Government 'create' jobs, rather like Corporal Hitler's and the Communists' hundred percent employment rate! (In the 1934 National Socialist economy of Germany 52,000 men were required to work on civil engineering projects alone, while some 100,000 were employed in supplying their building material.)

In liberal democracies it's a demonstrable fallacy that is re-enacted every time some Government has wrecked the economy by 'regulating' it. In this particular case banks were compelled by law to peddle subprime mortgages.

The Keynesian game is a parlor trick played by politicians on the people they claim to represent! The truth is, there is nothing the state can do to counter the fix except letting the market's self-regulating mechanism do its job; and the more they interfere with that process, the longer recovery takes.

But admitting that would prove that capitalism isn't the villain of the piece, but the hero. And it would unmask the Leftist game for what it is: a war on reality! So Keynesianism allows them to shine, a show-case for the policies that saved the country - despite, rather than because of it.

Back to party politics, the other war. The loyal opposition has finally decided a counter-offensive is in order. Conservatives are slowly catching on to the Left's Alinsky tactics.

Although full comprehension of the Postmodern anti rulebook is hard to accomplish, simply because it is so antithetical to anything we know, the TCOT Action Projects' "Launch Operation MOVE OVER MoveON.org" makes an excellent start.

From Political Correctness to One Party Rule

President Obama is in full "render-critique-beyond-the-pale" mode to mute the opposition. In the footage below we see Sean Hannity discussing it with Ann Coulter.

It's actually far more sinister than we usually give it credit for. This is, because to date political correctness has been put to use on woolly issues on the periphery of rough-and-tumble politics. It has been an irritant - a bad one at times - but that was it!

An insistent opponent would still be able to get the word out and hope to break through the callous layers of moral indignation. This however is getting increasingly difficult! Here we have a live opportunity to watch the process in action. The development from P.C. seedling, to full blown poison-acorn goes somewhat as follows.

The operator registers in public the presence of the opposition and displays surprise at its intensity, even if it's entirely justified and certainly mild in comparison with the rage-rage-rage histrionics Conservatives had to endure over long eight Bu$Hitler years. It would read like "Wow, we have an opponent and he's saying tough stuff about us".

This caricature is taken progressively to extremes. The next development stage goes from "petty grievances" to memes of " intolerable", "repugnant", and "it's no longer acceptable that we would have to endure such slanderous insult, followed by a word of caution on the dangers of dissent in times of crises! See this footage - an interview of MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell with Congressman Mike Pence for a great example of moral outrage over legitimate opposition (on the 4:35 mark).

This caveat by that time has generated enough indignation in the loyal media and the liberal grassroots for the opposition to have become reprehensible thugs in the consciousness of the tactically innocent: et voila, political correctness is born!

Of course we can always take this one step further by declaring the opposition morally as well as legally out of the order by adopting Orwellian Fairness Doctrine, or finding loopholes in existing legislation. By now we have well reached seedling level of one-party dictatorship.

During the Presidential campaign we've listed a few pretty corrosive examples, reason for the creation of a new collection point on Articles, entitled for good reason "Ruled by the Mob".

Take this outstanding example from "We Are All Plumbers Now": This is perhaps the most ominous aspect yet of both the radicalized Democratic Party in general, and the Obama campaign in particular: they appear to be after ways how the law can the used to criminalize opponents. Uncle Joe would be proud!

Point in case is a
local Democratic chairman reacting to Philip Berg's valid lawsuit for Barack Obama to present evidence of natural born citizenship. In this footage we can literally see him looking for ways to delegitimise Berg's efforts: either he's on a personal vendetta, or he must be trespassing on somebody's privacy rights (...)

These latter stages of the disease are simply too awful to contemplate just yet. For now enjoy Hannity and Coulter:

The politics=war analogy of the Presidential campaign is effortlessly promulgated into the Obama Administrative era. Some Conservatives actually fall for centrist talk and labels. They need to get this: to postmodernists like Obama words are meaningless! That's no exaggeration or a figure of speech: in postmodern philosophy words are mere soundwaves. By the way, let's get something straight! Islam has nothing to do with race. That myth is pushed on the basis that children born to a Muslim father, are automatically absorbed into the collective Ummah. One could argue on that basis that - like race - to be a Muslim isn't a matter of choice: one cannot help it, as it were! But acting against the pernicious influence of Islamism, as a religion and as a total-ideology, has nothing to do with racism.

Here's that despicable piece of solidified hatred produced by the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Read it! You'll be amazed how fast a country can slip into the abyss! The essence of the indictment is, insults against Islam. Since when is that notion part of Western culture? The Dark Ages are actually starting to look relatively bright in comparison! What's next? Heresy laws? The stake or the rack?

Cranmer: "Lord Ahmed threatens Parliament into submission"

It appears that a member of the House of Lords had invited the Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, to a private meeting in the Palace of Westminster. She had intended to invite her colleagues in the Lords to a private viewing of his ‘documentary’ Fitna, followed by discussion and debate in true parliamentary fashion. This is, after all, a liberal democracy, and their lordships enjoy the rights of freedom of expression and freedom of association, not to mention certain parliamentary privileges for the protection of their function in the legislature.

But no sooner had the unsuspecting baroness sent out her invitations, Lord Ahmed raised hell. It is reported that he ‘threatened to mobilise 10,000 Muslims to prevent Mr Wilders from entering the House and threatened to take the colleague who was organising the event to court’. And so Fitna has been cancelled: it shall not now be screened in the House of Lords on 29th January.
The Pakistani Press is jubliant, and Lord Ahmed is praising Allah for delivering ‘a victory for the Muslim community’. (...) >>>
